

Born in Seoul, Korea, she grew up in Maryland, Tokyo, and Cary, North Carolina. Dr. Choi started her dental journey in forensic dentistry as an undergraduate student studying skeletal remains in North Carolina. She eventually decided she’d much rather interact with living people, so she went on to complete her dental doctorate with honors at the UNC School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she continued her post-graduate training at the VA Medical Center in Long Beach.
Through the years, she has filled her passport with dental mission trips to Guatemala and Honduras, while also adding in surgery externships in Brazil and South Africa.
To share her passion for dentistry, she taught as an instructor at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. She continues to stay at the cutting edge of dentistry through continuing education, taking over 100 hours of advanced training each year; she has completed the UCSF Dental Sleep Medicine residency for treatment of obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliances, a Mastership in Biomimetic Dentistry to provide patients with ethical, long lasting and conservative restorations, and advanced training at the Kois Center for advanced jaw function and aesthetics.
She loves spending time with her husband and their two children. Her free time is spent as a personal chef and chauffeur to her two kids. She also loves to explore and hike the beautiful California coast.

Born and raised in San Jose, Dr. Ly received her B.S. in Biology at the University of the Pacific. She went on to the UOP School of Dentistry where she earned her dental doctorate with honors and received the first-place award for Clinical Excellence in Complex Restorative Dentistry. Following graduation, she completed the General Practice Residency program at Jacobi Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Ly is a faculty member in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. She has also completed the UCSF Sleep Medicine Residency for treatment of obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliances, a Mastership in Biomimetic Dentistry, and is a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, Washington.
She loves spending time with her husband and their two children. She also enjoys being a soccer mom, baking, and planning unforgettable themed parties.

Dr. Louie was born and raised in Sacramento. Although both parents and her sister are optometrists, her passion for oral health led her to dentistry. She received her B.S. in Biology at Cal Poly, followed by her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.
As a lifelong learner, she is Invisalign® Certified, has completed the UCSF Residency in Sleep Medicine to provide care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea, and is a graduate of the renowned Kois Center where she learned the latest in aesthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry.
After completing her degrees, Dr. Louie set off to Jamaica and Peru on mission trips as a volunteer dentist, where she served the dental needs of people without access to traditional oral healthcare.
She enjoys exploring new parks and trails to hike, baking, traveling, drawing, and painting.

As a San Francisco native, Dr. Lew loves serving the community she grew up in. She earned her B.A. in Biology with a specialization in Neuroscience at Boston University and completed a master’s degree in biological sciences from CSU East Bay. She spent time as a dental assistant before graduating with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.
Committed to clinical excellence, Dr. Lew has completed extensive continuing education in Biomimetic Dentistry as well as training at the Kois Center.
She loves spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also enjoys cheering on our local teams – Warriors, Niners, Giants, and Sharks.

Though Dr. Nguyen has lived all over California, she calls the Bay Area home. She graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a focus on Integrative Biology and completed her dental doctorate at Western University of Health Sciences. There, she was honored to be on the Dean’s List and received awards from the American Association of Public Health Dentistry from her contributions to community health.
With a passion for being on the leading-edge of dental advancements, she enjoys digital dentistry and is on the pathway to graduate from the prestigious Kois Center.
Dr. Nguyen has volunteered at local free clinics and enjoys the opportunities to serve vulnerable populations. She has also worked in community health centers.
She loves exploring and adventuring with her husband and their dog. She also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen (food & cocktails), watching films, and making films.
